Robert Poe brings more than two decades of senior leadership in aviation supply chain and procurement to the DAS team. His experience encompasses directing multi-million-dollar inventories, negotiating and managing complex supplier networks, and developing transformative sourcing strategies that deliver meaningful cost reductions and enhanced performance. Poe is a proven strategist who understands how to translate broad business goals into practical, actionable plans that keep inventory aligned with demand, reduce working capital, and accelerate repair and overhaul cycles. His reputation for change leadership and lean process improvement will be central to DAS Aviation’s ongoing mission to deliver rapid turnaround times without compromising safety or quality.
Poe’s track record in operating high-velocity supply chains across national and international domains positions him to lead the strategic evolution of DAS Aviation’s inventory management. He will work closely with operations, engineering, sales, and maintenance teams to ensure the right parts are on hand when and where they are needed, enabling DAS to sustain its dedication to speed, accuracy, and on-time delivery. By strengthening supplier relationships and implementing rigorous stock planning, Poe will help DAS maintain strategic inventories that support customers’ needs, reduce lead times, and improve overall service levels.
Prior to joining DAS Aviation, Poe held key leadership roles including Director of Supply Chain Operations at PSA Airlines, where he oversaw a substantial annual spend and managed a broad network of warehouses. He also led material services at Flexjet and Flight Options, directed 24/7 AOG operations and ERP transitions, and contributed to procurement leadership at Bombardier Flexjet and strategic contracting work with US Airways Express.
